Why it helps

Short feedback loops make patterns easier to remember.

Chess improves when a move, its consequence, and the reason are connected while the position is still fresh. Chess Overlay keeps those moments together.

01

Notice first

Pressure, defenders, tactical risks, and legal destinations become easier to scan.

02

Compare before moving

Candidate squares are evaluated side by side, helping you build a repeatable thinking process.

03

Understand the consequence

Explanations and principal variations show why a move is safe, inaccurate, or costly.
